Announcements Continuing Education Classes for Fiscal Officers and Elected Officials
Great News! During this 20th Anniversary year of the Lorain County Community Alliance (LCCA), the LCCA has been chosen by the State Auditor’s Office to be a test case in providing regional training for Government Officials and workers along with continuing education credits required by the Ohio Revised Code for Fiscal Officers. Established in 1996, the Lorain County Community Alliance is a council of governments, formed under the Ohio Revised Code and made up of political jurisdictions and organizations working together for the benefit of the citizens of Lorain County and the entire region. The Alliance seeks to explore more effective levels of public service, develop mechanisms to save money for the communities involved and benefit the member communities and the region in ways that could not be achieved separately. The LCCA and the Public Service Institute (PSI) of Lorain County Community College are proud to bring you the first in a series of comprehensive education and training seminars geared specifically for government leaders and workers in Lorain County and the region. The first session of classes include Ohio Ethics Commission Ethics Law Training on March 2nd and Ohio Certified Public Records Training - House Bill 9 on March 7th at the Lorain County Community College Spitzer Conference Center.
