LCCA Annual transportation Day

The Lorain County Community Alliance will be hosting its Annual Transportation Day Meeting, Friday, April 15th at 8:30 a.m. The meeting will be held at the Lorain County Administration Building, 226 Middle Ave. in Elyria on the 4th floor, meeting room B.
Transportation Day gives Agencies an opportunity to update Lorain County communities on the 2016 Transportation Projects and gives attendees the forum in which to get their questions answered.
Lorain County Engineer, Ken Carney will be speaking in regards to the 2016 Lorain County Projects; Agency representatives presenting include Northeast Ohio Areawide Coordinating Agency and Ohio Department of Transportation District #3. Rick Novak, Director of the Lorain Port Authority will give an update on the Jet Express and Summer Port Activities. Transportation Day participants will be entered into a drawing to win a 50.00 gas card.
This meeting is free of charge and is open to the public. An RSVP is requested; however, as a Continental Breakfast will be provided compliments of Lorain County Engineer Ken Carney. The Lorain County Community Alliance is a council of Governments, formed under the Ohio Revised Code and made up of political jurisdictions and organizations working together for the benefit of the citizens of Lorain County and the entire region. The Alliance seeks to explore more effective levels of public service, develop mechanisms to save money for the communities involved and benefit the member communities and the region in ways that could not be achieved separately.
